Time for Lowell to LEAVE!!!
If the post about lowell finally retiring and moving onto the assisted living facility is true, the stock will double within a year. Blowell is 100% the reason vz is dying. He leaves, stock jumps to 80$ within one year.
Just announce LowL Marni Scotti Hans Ronan John Matt Tami Marc Craig David and the rest are GONE. That would boost the stock.
I hope everyone pays close attention to the Verizon sympathizers like @beh. His lack of concern for customers and their privacy tells you how your personal information is treated in Verizon's hands.
First off McAdam is retiring this month I believe. Secondly, if you read what happened, the safe guard is the one who discovered the issue and fixed it before releasing the issue happened. Read the articles and be informed before you spout off.
It was Verizons contractor. They hired them. Verizon who proclaims security security should have had safegaurds to prevent it. They are to blame.

tell that to the customers whose private information was given to foreign surveillance companies to sell to the highest bidder... go to Wikileaks and then try to convince yourself nothing was leaked or compromised.
They have already made a public statement that no data was leaked or compromised.
While sloppy, it wasn't actually Verizon's fault.
Nice job trying to report though.
