Doesn't Recommend

Negative Outlook

Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Follett full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Being part of the campus community and connecting with students. Watching the students succeed was exciting . Graduation was always very thrilling.

Cons

Horrible upper management which stressed store manager out. Company is losing its grip. Eventually it will be bankrupt or bought out by Barnes & Noble or Amazon. The CEO has no clue about academic retailing.

Rush is coming, and there is nothing I have seen that will reverse the declines for the past 4 years. We will see how Follett rules.

It WAS a good company. Ol' Yeller before rabies. Like Ol' Yeller, it turned mean and vicious. Assigning blame won't change the fact that this dog needs to be put down.

Best company I ever worked for. A few bad apple but so many great people. I miss the company , the people and the mission of serving the students. Keep the faith.
