Ilx = IHX = in home experts

They are basically sales reps that go to people's home and make 2x the amount lmao

What is ILX?

Only way the union can make any progress would be to have the ILX team go to union members and even that it will be a challenge for the current staff to be removed. Granted att can easily say you need to go union or your fired but I highly doubt it. This can drag on for months before anything changes.

AT&T won this war unless union can win with the courts against the ILX position. If that doesn't happen, the striking for retail stores is pointless. There is more than enough people to prevent any major damage.

All the reps in my store are not striking to stop the In home experts from making money especially on iPhone launch day.

Union lost this fight for its memebers.

Unfortunately, the union lost the little power they had by waiting so long to strike. AT&T purposely got ILX running nation wide and priority was put in the orange area to get the best reps in each store to switch over to make sure they would have more bodies to work if a strike was called.

The Union lost this for it's members...personally, i'll be scabbing strike or no strike. They were all about getting names and making sure they were going to punish members and not one was fined.

Everyone in my local stores are refusing to strike now, and will be leaving the union if they do call it.

The boat was missed - the 3rd largest group was just created IHX - any strike will be covered by them! It will be easier then last time. Each area has 10-15 high performing non union reps! Each store has 2-5 managers, most who can sell circles around most reps.

Hate to tell the CWA, but a strike could last months. They missed their chance to strike prior to this.

We didn't even figure all the managers the company could and would fly in.

That would be the smart play. It would put an end to it all and have them negotiating fairly. Yes, they can subcontract the work to other call centers and authorized retailers but we know how many f ups will occur when they do.
