You should start heading tomorrow through the end of the month if your department is being hit but I’m aware of quite a few departments that will either be completely closed or severely reduced in headcount.

Another reverse Midas touch for the T. What ever they touch turns to 💩
The whole Digital Life org only has about 1500 people. I wouldn't call that "Massive" in the grand scheme of things. Most of the Engineering is in Atlanta and most of the support is in Dallas.
I'd be shocked if we actually get a billion for it as suggested by the rumors. The technology won't integrate with another platform. All the talent is already in a mass exodus and we are bleeding customers like crazy because we stopped promoting it 6 months ago.
@6cwf: it’ll be mostly centered in Georgia but with Digital Life now announced there will be a good number out of Texas.
News states that att will be selling digital life.
Just saw the news that ATT is selling digital life. 😐
AL? GA? FL?
@4wjp is correct and it will be a sizeable number.

Where in the S.E. ?
@4wjp how do you know
There wil be surplus in the South East after all, get ready Sep 15th... Tic -Toc
I’m aware of quite a few useless posts with vague warnings of "massive layoffs" These posts should be removed from Layoff.com!
Let's see: no specifics and general doom and gloom.
Seems like FUD. There's no doubt the surplus is a way of life at AT&T, but there is nothing in the original post that is even remotely concrete.
Which department are you referring to with AT&T?
Which part of AT&T - as you know, the org is massive and we never had the same intensity layoffs across the org
aware? which departments ?
