There are secret squirrel spreadsheets out there with retail lease dispositions, etc.. Vz sometimes determines a year in advance that a location is going away. Much of their perspective has to do with store revenue vs lease cost (to terminate or payout).
Your IT and Sales Ops Real Estate folks typically know months before a retail store closes. If other stores are receiving new HW (new routers or POS systems, in building small cells,etc) and your store isn't.....consider that writing on the wall. Also, make friends with your locations property manager, they will know you are losing your job before you.
Haven't heard any other store closures in south east....
Look for multiple store closures in Las Vegas by end of year.
