If they do, the burden falls on them. The union employees would unemployment payments immediately and that costs the cost company.
If the Union walks it's costs us union guys more up front but hopefully breaks management greed before it costs us. I am not a fan of these "planned" strikes usually it's saving the company money to make up whatever small increases mobility will get.

If the company locks people out I think they can get unemployment benefits, the company has put them off the job. But If they go on strike they are not eligible for unemployment.
Managers were on call yesterday for another imminent strike. I say they wait a week and do it again.
AT&T does not pay your unemployment ransom.. That money comes from a federal pool of money collected by the government. Since you willfully walked off your job then you CANNOT apply.
You're not getting unemployment if you get locked out. The union won't approve a weeklong strike because then they'd have to pay you. Enjoy the weekend off. Cwa will sign or you'll keep saving At&t money by not collecting a check every other weekend.
