The union workers did this to themselves. too concerned with squeezing a few more gibsmedats (which most dont deserve) instead using these so called skills to make the organization stronger as a whole. how many of you refused to take your role to the next level or share your knowledge with others because that would threaten your "job security". this is long overdue. way too many union piggies eating off the backs of the talented few. what kind of man lives like that?

Yeah sure it's the union's fault. WOW. Couldn't possibly be that the upper management of Verizon couldn't find its butt with both hands, could it? Your post stinks of TROLL.
The union wants the survival of the company otherwise retirement and good wages disappear. There's a lot of talent in the union workforce. Yes, there are useless freeloaders but name me any major company that doesn't have a small population just like that. You should see the military.
Dude are you serious??? This great corporation just threw a few bucks and a lousy contract at the union with all kinds of promises....then they have the balls to think they are making "good" strategic decisions about the future of this company and i'm sure they "never" consult with the intelligent union workers who are left carrying this company on there backs....the stock price is not in the toilet because of the union, it is because of all the bad decisions this inept management team , at the top anyway, has been making;;; employees with less than 25 years need this company to survive because they need their jobs, if Verizon has no future and job security goes away, the only one to blame is VERIZON!!!
@NmWkS90 ----- you're a bottom feeder. Its a dog eat dog world. Grow up!!
