Has anyone that got laid off in April 2017 gotten their severance pay yet? I got my unused vacation payout last paycheck 2 weeks ago. I completed all requirements for severance mid April and have not seen payout. I usually see paycheck payout on Thursdays and I don't see anything today :'(

My last day on payroll was 5/5, got my vacation payout May 12, still waiting on the severance. Takes 2 pay cycles to process. I should be getting it June 1, I hope! But of course it will be half of what is due because of taxes.
I got my severance 4 weeks after being let go. Others got theirs 4 weeks after their paperwork was turned in and accepted. If you didn't send in the paperwork that you accept the severance, you won't get paid. You have 30 days from last day on job. (if memory serves - I've tried to wipe my brain of Verizon)

If it's based on May 5th as last day on Payroll then that might be another 2 weeks on next paycheck date. Tic- toc, tic- toc, tic-toc.... hopefully not longer than that :-/

Also waiting. I received my unused vacation on May 12. As I understand it, it takes a couple weeks to process the severance, but I think that waiting period starts on May 5 seeing as that was the last day on pay roll.

Nope, and I'm starting to get annoyed. It's not like they didn't know this was coming. I submitted my severance paperwork a few days after we were let go.
