So I posted a video on social media about a possible stirke and my Local demoted me for that. I'm trying to help our brother and sisters and this is how they reward me! Now, more than ever I think that my superiors are in bed with ATT. Why give a notice and not do anything about it?

i think what poster @Nfy4 provided a solution:maybe we need a different union that represents us as one union across all 50 states. one union one contract across the board? sounds like a fair logical solution to me. and you are right we need to take action and we need to create one union.
I get it. It's far easier to just sit there and complain about what's wrong then it is to actually do something about it.
And FYI: formally upper management. Now I work whenever I please and the only person holding me accountable is me. I started as a rep and disliked a lot about it, so I outworked everyone and moved up the chain, because being successful and setting the right example for my family outweighed staying stagnate and b--ching about every little thing.
I say quit being angry about what other people are doing and be happy about what you can and should be doing. Don't blame others for your lack of success.
