Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Sales Targets - Unrealistic

AT&T in the past years has made the job unbearable.

It's absolutely horrible how management tells you to shove all these products down customers throats.

There have been many, many of my friends that have lost their job due to being targeted for not making the sales they want.

They preach integrity, but they don't mean it. They have fired everyone that had integrity in our office.

AT&T is the one causing customers to leave and go elsewhere.

No one wants to be harassed every time they have to call about a bill. Soon there won't be enough employees and all will lose their job I suppose.

Left T three months ago and my life has changed for the better. I was a first level but couldn't buy into the hypocrisy, lies and complete b---s---. T's culture is a toxic mess. Glad I shorted all of my shares.

@NUW8gMU-8kvi this is 100% true. ive been in meetings with DOSes and they try to push people out through difficult assignments, sand bagging, leaving them off email lists and invites for social events and gaslighting. dont budge because this means that a layoff is around the corner in a year and you can eventually say, pay up!

AT&T promotes either the most sociopathic managers who you will see fire someone for something they told them to do and deny they ever said it, 21 year old good looking females who are given choice jobs and assignments that are meant to never fail or just someone the managers are friends with. all types will give you unachievable goals that can never be achieved unless you are completely corrupt and are good at hiding it. that is what att wants to screen for for upper leadership. people who can eventually lie to wall street or never put anything in writing. they drive everyone else to insanity with unrealistic sales goals until they quit and then they hire the next group of future brainwashed people.

ATT is protected because they are ripping off consumers, not the federal government or health care and upper and mid level leadership are never held accountable. my advice to the federal government is get the school buses ready and load them with all the handcuffed criminal level 2s and up at att.

It's happening at our call center people getting wrote up for not saying full screen. It's total bull crap. Also they are making every and anything up to write up. I have a feeling they are going to close the call center. Not to mention they are suppose to give u a month to do better and I see people get written up in under 2 weeks. It's so horrible how they treat us

There is no such thing as enough, they will always keep raising the bar and demanding more. If you consistently meet the goals all it means to T management is the goals were not high enough.

It's a strategy to get you to leave so they don't have to pay Severance when they eliminate your job. All Mobility will eventually be outsourced to third party unless you work in a fancy store of the future type location that's a revenue earner.

Make sure to collect unemployment if they let you go for under performing.

Feel sorry for you guys, careers turned to dust!' It is not you, it is the leadership team compmetely out of touch with reality, many people don't do business with your company for the deceptive practices and track record
