MST's time is up? Not really, they will be put into your job, along with every DTV tech with more seniority than you. See you on the unemployment line.

WFE is awesome. I slept a lot in training so it's good I have a tool to tell me the exact steps. It needs more pictures in the steps though.

One tech CAN do it all. i know because I do it all. I have not put in a helper ticket all year. I do DTV, fiber, VDSL.... we seriously do not need two techs. its so funny when core techs pretend like their job is so difficult and complex that a prem tech could not possibly perform it. its really quite simple. any tech that has been doing it for a couple years knows how to isolate trouble on a line if necessary.

T wants to train DTV techs to be prem techs and MST's LOL. This is why they spent millions on WFE they aren't going to bother actually training anyone they are just gonna have you follow a work flow chart lol

Been doing this in midwest for 2 years now. You basically getting the same contract got three years ago. Check out distict 4's contract 2015.

They are following other cable companies that generally use 2 techs. It speeds up the work and tends to be a bit more productive.

Just let it fall on its face and fail....then the T will go back to what works! I've seen this over and over with this company they won't listen to anybody! But when it fails they eventually change course.

Never going to happen, one tech can't do everything and cary all the direct tv boxs and equipment! And have the experience and knowledge to do it all.....dream on AT&T

its good for the customers. having two techs is incredibly stupid. one tech should be able to do everything. MSTs need to stop crying and realize their time is just about up.
