Have you seen reps (retail or B2B) that take sick time off or a FMLA, come back to work only to miss quota, that results in write-up/PiP/no commissions check? Verizon has a track record of this type of employee abuse. If you don't believe me, Google "Verizon $20 Million EEOC Settlement." I recently had a sick family member that required me to take FMLA leave and was told my quota would still be the same as everyone else when I return. So not only would I not make a commission check, but I was also in danger of "write up" unless my leadership team decided to make an "exception." How kind of them... They say they care about their employees but their actions show otherwise. Anyone else out there been impacted?
