Pretty sure the 5% in wireline C&E would tell you there is a surplus happening.
Given the 60-day notification timeline, the fact that there wasn't any notification at the end of April, I would say that Q2 will pass without any mass layoffs.
However, that doesn't mean there won't be a series of smaller releases. Just nothing along the lines of "surplus".
There are always layoffs every quarter even if your particular department or group may not be effected I can guarantee another is.
Except this quarter it seems
There will be layoffs every quarter until 2020 when Randy and Co. take their golden parachute and jump off this doomed plane.
