Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Doesn't looking too good here. But maybe there will be no layoffs. If it does I am wondering which group will get affected?

@ffik. Do you know what locations for C&E? Craft or Management?

Exactly! End of April has nothing to do with it, next big layoff, June 15th

Pretty sure the 5% in wireline C&E would tell you there is a surplus happening.

Given the 60-day notification timeline, the fact that there wasn't any notification at the end of April, I would say that Q2 will pass without any mass layoffs.

However, that doesn't mean there won't be a series of smaller releases. Just nothing along the lines of "surplus".

There are always layoffs every quarter even if your particular department or group may not be effected I can guarantee another is.

There will be layoffs every quarter until 2020 when Randy and Co. take their golden parachute and jump off this doomed plane.
