$20 milion so the 4 remaining Go90 workers have something to watch that night.
The rest of the 1st world sports fans will watch the game on a big screen HDTV in their home -or- on a big screen HDTV at their local sports bar.
This is peanuts compared to the "deal" Verizon and the NFL are trying to make.....It would give Verizon exclusive streaming rights to all NFL games.
So this overpayment is just keeping things friendly....and it's also showing the NFL just how committed Verizon is to wanting this deal.

@1ofo - I work for the NFL and totally agree with you!
I think that was a brilliant decision by Verizon.
3 reasons I'm not surprised. 1) Little Scotti Diego mismanages the advertising budget with his every decision. 2) Verizon overpays everyone when an executive gets involved...AOL...YAHOO... Vodaphone buyout. 3) That's Ronan Dunn's home. Next time they ask you how to cut costs..... share this waste of $.
A fool and his money will soon part
That's only $400,000 per Jags fan that will be watching.
Yet they continue to lay off hardworking, reliable employee due to "budget reasons" - SMH
The NFL thought it was a good price.
