Strike while the iron is hot...oops missed that. Whats the point of taking a vote to strike and seeing overwhelming results authorising a strike? 90+% percent of mobility orange voted for a strike. Its time to take a stand and show that its the little people that run AT&T. It would be interesting to know how many of the big wigs actually have worked in a retail position selling and seeing the terrible response from customers when the see accessory pricing or extremely loyal customers that we dont do anything special for in any way to thank them for their dedication. Its all about what new customers we can get in. Take care of what you have and let them spread the word and help bring in new people. If AT&T isn't smart enough to realize that upper management pay is the place to cut and sign a new FAIR contract then the jokes on them. All I can say is MR. PRESIDENT "CALL THAT STRIKE!"

I totally agree a strike would do more harm than good. strike at retail., who cares the customer will order online.
We aren't going to call a strike. The CWA keeps referencing Verizon's strike. Verizon's strike was not wireless employees. Installers have much better leverage since if services go out, Verizon loses money if it can't be quickly repaired. If our stores go on strike, the revenue from monthly service continue to roll in, customers can buy phones online / at national and authorized retail. The company honestly doesn't suffer much of a loss, especially since they can replace us higher paid employees that are on strike pretty quickly. (AR has their RSCs on the floor within about a week of being hired)
Verizon wireless employees voted against the union. Their wireless employees are paid more than ours WITHOUT the CWA. The CWA only cares about their own agenda. Their only method of attempting to get things accomplished is bullying and intimidation, which isn't working this time and they are grasping for straws. Our managers aren't at all phased by what we are doing because they want to fire the majority of us anyway.
The entire fiasco is entertaining to watch though!
