The orange mobility contract (over 100,000 CWA union members) was extended with the stipulation that if the union wanted to pose a strike, they have to give AT&T a 72 hour notice. They gave the notice today so there is a chance/opportunity for the union to strike on the 1st.

If you want real negotiation and a fair contract sounds like you need to follow Verizon's lead. They didn't back down.

72hour notice

And it supposed to be given this morning at 8

Doesn't mean they will strike just means now it will be an option if they don't start bargaining towards a fair contract.

They made it seem the notice wasn't decision to strike but to say they might

Not sure what that means

The always bulkshit, that is something that CWA will never do list

I thought they didn't notify of strikes to avoid management from digging in and finding out? I thought they tell members when it's pretty close to. I could be wrong so don't flame me.

This is the same person that has been posting here about the West striking on the 1st. Damn lies!

Isn't there like, a two week required notice before a strike starts?
