AT&T (T) is expected to ramp up consumer advertising for bundled wireless and pay-TV offers in the wake of disappointing first-quarter results at satellite broadcaster DirecTV.

Subscriber growth at DirecTV Now's streaming service, however, helped AT&T offset surprising weakness at DirecTV's traditional pay-TV business in the first quarter, analysts say.

Even with all the scummy tactics like creating installation tickets on service calls and raising prices in legacy services so customers would call in to complain and then be sold the DTV product they couldn't make a dent on a sinking ship. Wow Randall good job pushing away customers with subpar internet, horrible offshore tech and customer support and raising prices on long time customers for no other reason than to trick them into another load of lies.
