Q "Fortune Magazine: Can AT&T retrain 100,000 employees?"
A: No, that's why AT&T is firing people and offshoring the jobs to India.
Next.
Actually I know several millenial aged former AT&T employees that graduated from Georgia Tech. They work for Google now. I also know one former LDP manager that now works for a consulting firm. So much for keeping the best and brightest. It's not just the middle aged people leaving AT&T
I think it is just PR designed to help push the TW deal and avoid any scrutiny of T's HR practices until the deal closes. This is just another lie Randy is promoting to accomplish a business goal.
Randy and his cohorts care absolutely zero for the people who actually do the work in this company, for them it is all about short term gain and maximizing their bonuses.
And I'm sure a lot of those jobs will eventually be outsourced too.
=170k fool's
Will / do they want to retain as much as 1000,000?
270,000 employees, and the company is only aiming to train 100,000? That speaks volumes...
