What is a PremaTech? And so basically DTV techs are getting eliminated in favor of existing AT&T PremaTechs?

Bad time to be DTv techs, PremaTechs will assimilate those positions, While the Union taking points, about 40 Hrs work week, Vacation, Bla Bla Bla...
Let's be honest. Cuts to field techs are coming. When? Who knows. My DTV yard is over 160 techs deep and by 1:30pm there's no more work. My brother is a prem tech for one of the biggest yards in San Diego and he says that Managers ask every morning "we need 5-10 people to take E-Time". It just makes sense, they start to cut people at the top like Managers and once they are done with that they will start with us the little people. The CWA will not be able to protect us, they know that cuts are coming and they know there's nothing they can do to stop it.
The question of how good the union did or does is real, valid and important, but it is the company that is screwing people over. Only pointing the finger at the union lets the company off the hook. But of course that is what a company troll would do.

That's a pretty vague statement......and how could you ever know that? "Most in major markets". You sound very much like a troll to me. Post back when you get some real facts, and stop spreading false rumors. All silly posts like this do is ruin the credibility of the board.
Maybe we should look at this so called UNION, filled with lazy as_es that take rolls to dodge work and claim worthless when we challenge them
