Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

AT&T one of Fortune's best 100 companies to work for.

AT&T is one of Fortune's 100 best companies to work for. Partially based on a survey of randomly selected employees. We the employees should create a website and each share our (good or bad) honest opinion of AT&T and highlights or lowlights of our career. There is not a site that employees as a whole can voice opinions but many sites that you can voice opinions individually. Hmmmmmmmm I wonder why.

I took the ENPS and scored the company extremely low....so how can they have a 100 best companies to work for before the ENPS is done? DOS was fired as well as Operations Manager. Company realigning all its stores and managers. Booted their ARSMs as well as ASMs ..can't agree on a union contract....oh yeah what a crock or p.r. Spin yet again.

I have worked for several companies throughout my career, some better than others, some worse. I've always been in telecom. Spent two years with ATT, and I can tell you that those were the two most miserable years by far that I have ever spent. "Old school" thinking, and "that's the way we've always done it" mentality.

AT&T was the worst professional job that I've ever had. It has a culture of arrogance at the top level, which I sadly dealt with for 1.5 years (worked for the company they bought for 9 years) before deciding to move on.

AT&T is the icon of corporate greed.s

It is just corporate media trying to spin information in a positive way for big corporations.

Blaming individual reporters is B.S., it is like blaming the call center rep because your cell phone coverage is bad.

And of course the survey invitation for employee feedback was only sent to a selected audience.

Sound like PR campaign to attract the type of employess this company need, problem is that most competent professionals don't see AT&T going anywhere, it is all about the stock price,!!! Zero innovation !!
