They are hiring now to fire you later. Almost 48% of the staff is to be fired (reduced) is by 2020. So this is a long drawn process where all employees will be kept standing on pins. Its definitely not worthwhile for the employee to join this company and then keep thinking when s/he will be fired.

This applies to DXC centers in India, Malaysia and Philippines as well. Approx 50% staff rejig, sooner or later, looking for cheap labor. Best is to avoid such a company, especially when thy declared that there will be no salary raises/hikes and no bonuses declared in the coming future.

The bottom line target is removal of up to 50% of the former HPE staff worldwide by March 2018, while hiring fresh blood (1 hire for every 2-3 fires). New hires will be churned (replaced) every 6 months to 1 year. Better not to join this company, if you are already an employee in DXC, better start your job search TODAY!

(They actively pursue you and then lay you off. Some had multiple offers from former HPE who actively pursued candidates to join... Less than 6 months they were given notice while still on probation). It is best to stay away from DXC. Bad news is that if you have completed 5+ years you too are likely to be fired soon. DXC is looking for cheap labor only.

Watch out for April 24th. May 2017 firing dates are 15th and 22nd May 2017.

DXC policy is to eventually get rid of the legacy HPE staff and bring in new persons whether or not they fit the role, so legacy HPE staff BEWARE, you will be targeted soon.

One of friend who is working with DXE told me about the unethical practices which are being done by the senior management people. It is useless to join a company where there is no job security and if you do not work according to senior management , they might fire you.

@2sll, You are right, specially about names. Know that for a fact. Admins removed my posts month ago for mentioning a coworker. They blocked my IP too. This set me back as writing from proxy is super-slow.

The senior Management is laying off the staff without seeing the impact to the project. No backups to proceed with the current business. In the name of separation HP has played a dirty game with the employees by tagging DXC name to it.

This was expected but not so early. I am surprised that mgmt had decided to do something like this so early.

Consolidation is the forte of any merger cum spin off but that does not mean axing people left right centre! They could have explored possibilities to give these or future employees to try their hands on some other delivery before declaring them misfit in current outfit?

See this cheap labour thing is all b---s--- bcoz it is not that easy to hire an employee. Moreover, elite or niche skills are hard to find. Deliveries or customer's desired have increased over the years.

So under these circumstances hiring n during for the sake of it not possible. Samson David aka L2 mgr under previous HPE mgmt should take the responsibility and asked whether he had done the same in Infosys or not.

Future of ex-HPE employees looks like dark or/and full of uncertainty. HR should be taken for a task by forming a group representation. Bcoz if ppl fear as individuals that will be kicked individually but a group representation would be far better.

Pls explore, what suits you best.

Resources who were not billed have been given notices and most of them were freshers hired during october and its not their fault . Few experienced resources were also in this list . Next time criteria might vary , hpe kept on cutting staff in US and UK . After merger with csc now india staff too are being laid only difference is in US and UK they have been.compensation where as in India they are not giving anytjing other than notice. Noticw is not official just they called out employees and asked them to sign a printed form . Stop saying employees are having fun and dont work thats why they have been laid . In any company there will be people like that and there are hard working people . Most people work in hp due to their flexibility even though compensation is not great . Those who have ethics will always do their work properly wherever they are

Left six months ago when still it was to be renamed DXC,now hear this news and feel sad for company like HP reduced to such state.it was bound to happen as most managers not all were horrible and ran accounts to ground.Especially testing services were worst ,mismanaged to the core and Nepotism at it's very best.

This company is real sh-- , Look what they have made this HP which was started by to greats of that time "David Packard" and "William Hewlett". It was my dream company to work with , but now i hate it most. I have resigned just 1 week before they could fire me , and got another offer.

Sorry @Stop calling it Dixy - the truth is billable people are being let go. On FFP and derivative type projects the company thinks you can work with less, the clients are obviously pissed. If you are on T&M you are golden, at least while you are billable, then - more than likely you are gone.

Only people who don't work are being removed. Don't give into rumours. People who work half their shifts or don't work at all & overplayed people are removed. There is no point in hiring and firing uselessly.

A worl level reputed brand like HP should not make a move like this to their employees, they should atleast inform their employees to look for any other opportunities before making this kind of worst layoff policies. They should not cheat their employees by simply merging with CSC and not giving any increments in their salary in the present and also at the past years.

Yes, that's 100% true. They don't want to keep legacy HPE staff who does average 1-2 hours work daily and 5-6 hours fun out of their 8 hours working day. Most of the employees who are more than 5 years old are OUT OF DATE when it comes to technology and processes.Middle level managers don't do anything except working on leave and appraisal tools and always biased about their favorite team members who also don't do anything except helping managers for their excel work and play dirty politics with other team members....They are just enjoying the lazy work culture of HPE...
