I think in this case, the board of directors and the shareholders are "god". And they need to send him downstairs ASAP.
Thousands of hard working Americans have lost their jobs because of poor leadership decisions by Lowell and his crew. I am waiting with the OP for them to get the boot.
Or maybe God really appreciates what Lowell has done and will give him an honored place in Heaven. Your religion should remind you that God works in mysterious ways and that no mortal should presume to know the mind of God.
Moot point since he doesn't exist of course, but promoting the idea that the "evil doers" get their comeuppance in a future life is just the way the ruling elites help prevent change in this life. Instead, get active in politics and try to get laws changed to prevent whatever you think is wrong. That probably won't work either, but has a slightly better change.
My experience with FIOS has been exceptional......seven years of 99.9% uptime to date. With regret I watch as Lowell runs this company into the ground. Accountable, one asks? You have been given much and from you much is expected. The opportunity to provide world class service in wireline and wireless technology to millions of customers and well paying secure jobs for thousands of loyal employees has been squandered in the name of greed and personal gain for yourself and a few personal croonies. Your hour of judgement is inevitable, when you stand before God and he asks what did you do to benefit others with all the blessings you where given? As the Bible says......easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than a rich man to enter heaven. Enjoy your wealth now as it won't being going with you.....eternity is a very long time. I offer a different approach to your decision making process.....get God on your side and perhaps you can save this sinking ship and provide a positive experience for employees and customers alike. Remember.......in that hour you and only you will be held fully accountable.
