The shift away from pay tv is an industry trend. Now that there are more video options, people just get the broadband and pick their own video from the many choices.
Broadband on its own is quite profitable for the industry. Just read any article on the topic. TV subscriptions are actually low margin - really a means to an end to help sell connections. If people want to get broadband only, that's fine. The big losers in this model are the content companies and satellite tv providers.
Simply the people who disconnect once football season is over lol
troll much Douche ?
Most people don't want to pay for channels they don't watch anymore, but they do still want fast wireline internet.
Ask anyone you know.
Claims to the contrary are fake news.
fios isn't failing but nice try...apparently you s--- at knowing how to read the entire readout from the company quarterly report. There were no video adds but there is strong bandwidth adds. I see you didn't bother to post the wireless losses. Gee people are really stupid. If you cannot assist the company in generating revenue then do us all a favor and quit. Being part of the company is trying to team build and make things work not come here and attempt your stupid spin. damn troll
