One of the busiest stores in our region and we havent had a customer walk in for an hour. Hawking bill pays to pitch hum and 5 star today. Totally lame.

Leadership wants stores to fail so they can pip people out on write ups without paying severance.
With the RSS spot gone, everyone left is on commission and is subject to being managed out on performance.
The era of the company owned retail store is coming to an end. They are quietly closing them all over the country.
Maybe the company needs to go back to the way things were when a customer comes in and we have no pressure on us and sell them what they need. Not bombard them with 100 questions and options. With no pressure maybe we can be happier and friendlier making our customers happier and WANT to come see us for future purchases.
Because everybody offers everything cheaper than Verizon.
Want a case? Cheaper everywhere else.
Want a deal on a phone? Best Buy, Amazon and other carriers offer better deals
Want cheaper service? T Mobile and Sprint both offer cheaper and hell T Mobile is practically just as good as Verizon these days.
What does Verizon offer people that makes them any better? Nothing
Granted the market is becoming saturated but Verizon isn't exactly doing much to get them over other than toss Hum and Tablets on people who want unlimited data. When in doubt stuff the bag is the motto now apparently.
According to our Dm this is the new Norm, they want people to buy online, talk here is stores are going away, I'm in a new smart store, years past half hour wait all day, for two months we've been dead, might go an hour without traffic, and we are the busiest store in our area.....Yet we all are told if we don't hit quota we are getting written up.
Customers tired of getting bombarded with pull trough's and accessory sales every time they walk in. Must be finally catching on that Verizon stores are lame as F...

This isn't just about Verizon or AT&T, Sears, Cisco, Intel, Kellogg's, or the many other corporations having major problems right now.
It's happening because a recession has begun that will be far more severe than 2008. Corporations, the media, and government is desperately trying to hide this fact by telling us how great the economy is.
Really?
If it's so great why is everyone laying people off? Why are dozens of retailers closing thousands of stores?
Maybe they'll realize that they need to do something to get traffic in the stores it is the same at the stores in our District also
