Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Call volume extremely low

Call volume extremely low in Southeast region. Any word on why that happened? Is this a sign of things to come? Everyone was given the option to leave early, regardless of seniority.

I work in a Center in Charlotte, NC. Our calls stay backed up all day. Of course, at the beginning of 2016, we had 45 techs in the group---now we have 12 and are expected to do the same job!!

COR and I'd Imagine AR is also told the same thing, but we are instructed to make sure customer DO NOT CALL CARE.

We are being coached, i have 2 co-workers on Finals, because their call rates are above the goal. Today we had a 7AM meeting about things we can do to make sure we get call rate to go down.

They are basically trying to stop people from calling care.
