Delay works for the company and puts the union in a bind unless they (members and leadership) are ready to push harder and actually walk out. It makes the union leadership look weak and frustrates the workers.
Ever think they are trying to get rid of the union? Working without a new contract for years? Odd to me but I am not in a union so this is only my opinion

What you apparently are suggesting is the union completely cave in to T management.
You are either a management stooge, if you are even in the union, or one of Randy's minions trying to sabotage the work lives of the people who actually do the work in this company.
Did you ever stop to think it's because the company is trying to give them a less than acceptable deal? I imagine if they did settle quickly your response would be what a horrible contact it is. With memebers like you, the union is in a no win situation.
