Close connections have informed me that solution specialist on final written will be fired between today and Monday. There is also a strong possibility that the bottom reps in store that fall under 20 percent will be let go as well. This will only leave some stores with 3-5 reps but the company plans to open solution specialist reqs ,positions , back up by mid next week. RSS that have been let go will have first dibs on being rehired with company. I am a SM in the company and this is what has been relaid to me. Good luck. The only way to fight organized greed is with organized labor! People should be brave and call the CWA union! Here is their Verizon Wireless # -- all calls are anonymous. In landline, the union has prevented layoffs. In wireless, they can layoff whenever because there are no unions!
