Today I was told I could either move to a land far far away or leave the company May 5th. I am choosing to leave...
While I am grateful for my 12 years with Verizon, these last few years have been unbelievably STRESSFUL. The sharp deadlines and the ridicule if there was an error by upper management made the environment quite depressing and full of anxiety.
I am happy to have a severance package and I will be taking time for myself, my family and just decompressing for a little bit. I wish everyone well who got "the call" today...Good things are on the horizon.
