Oh and why didn't one of them get laid off for these bad decisions like Blow90, AOL and Yahoo? So now retail has to run lean and under headcount. Those getting the crumbs from the table always get stepped on.

Yes and remember these great CEO s wasted 200 million on Blow 90 . Instead of investing in employees .
Even if they gave up their entire salaries of 27 million, that would still only be $4500 per person if the original layoff projection was correct at 6,000 employees once all is said and done. I don't think two paychecks per person laid off will save enough money
The executives make millions of dollars. Millions. Hundreds of times more than the workers. Your b--ching about a union guy making 150k?
America has reached the point where unions are once again necessary for the American worker's survival.
Complaing about ceos and then when the annual meeting comes along no one votes against pay raises so why complain?
The union will be the death of this company. Has done nothing and will continue to do nothing but bleed this company forever. The majority of union employees are the slackers and retards that wouldn't have a job better than flipping burgers outside of Verizon. I came from the union, it's a business, its a scam to make members feel like they are secure, but when sh-- hits the fan, they f--- you in the a-- if your position doesn't have a significant member base. Next contract expect the company to kill them off, its the only way it will survive from the blood s---ers.
Funny...lot of new ppl on here. Never heard of blow90. What about bum (they crappy gps idea named hum)
Us wireline dues paying cwa members have long know top execs are overpaid and underwhelming on products. You v teamers drank the cool aid all the way to the end.
Fight and organize. Only way you stand a chance...and then if company goes and pulls an enron...we all loose.
Blow 90 lol first time hearing that. Hilarious lmao
one small but substatioal thing you can do is sell every single damn share of VZ stock you own as soon as it makes sense for you and port every line you have out. In the long run it may not matter in the great scheme of things but you certainly do not have to contribute to them screwing you.
