Just came back from Orlando for Winner's Circle, husband stressing about losing his reps. Why waste money on rewards, let people keep their jobs! Thankful he has job but sad for others.

What's the incentive for top performers to stay? We get poached all the time on LinkedIn by other employers. Minimal incentive if pres cabinet or wc isn't there to strive for. 45 million in profit sharing? Get real. Read some facts before you post some ignorant comment.
I've been to winners circle 4 years in a row and I would have personally gave it up if meant saving someone's job, I know it wouldn't have been enough but it's a start. I have a friend in the biz channel and he told me they had their kickoff at the Omni Grove in Asheville.... that place is super expensive! Does anybody really need a fancy kickoff? Saddest day I have ever seen at Verizon. I have seriously cried with these people. They are single moms, one income families, and people who don't deserve this. It was probably inevitable but I feel like they could have really done something different and trained them for different roles or something... :,( and Lowell getting $45 million in profit sharing?!?!? Who the hell needs that much money I bet he would make headlines news if he donated it to the employees who have been impacted, but he probably doesn't give a sh--!

If you're vested, you might have noticed in the shareholder's notes that Lowell got a $45 million dollar bonus. You want to start somewhere, vote to replace the vzw board. They cut the jobs and have themselves our wages as a pat on the back.
Right after I was laid off in December 2015, my former co-workers were posting pictures on Facebook of meetings in fancy hotels, elaborate team builders, folks that traveled in from all over the country. It's sickening.
Exactly, I attended with my husband and they spent A LOT!! 1k on our plane tix alone....
