Supposedly GMs are supposed to have a call today any word on that? I'm getting conflicting information from my sources saying no call today and others saying there might be a call

My friend is a GM in Texas. They are in meetings right now. He thinks they will be in meetings until 6 or later. This is happening right now.
PS, No Company REALLY cares about their employees. You ARE a number, if you are NOT producing you are an NONESSENTIAL number. Simple strong survive mentality. If you are the person who opted to take an RSS role you wanted to get out of sales because you stunk. The further you are from successful sales the easier you are to dump.

So theres suppose to be a call tomorrow to say how they are letting us go but its supposed to be effective Friday.
@bcr: That's how it is with any company. If you're so bent out of shape over it Verizon I hate to tell you it's that way at all large corporations.
Instead of whining about it maybe start working harder so you can be an executive one day and get those perks.

Verizon doesn't care about any of their employees, it's all about the numbers. If they're not making a profit for the shareholders you won't see anybody take a pay cut in the executive staff will just fire everyone below them. I feel sorry for people have put many years In and help Verizon grow and out the door they go. The Verizon way

Mine had one this morning after the call she seemed very distant
We have a face to face meeting today with our DM and HR that's 5-6 hours long.
They're on the call right now with their director and HR.
GM meeting is at 8am in my area
