Honestly, they had this coming.
Since the days of free tablets when reps are winning trips and contests based on adding lines of service that are generating no revenues, costing the company money on equipment & paying out ridiculous commissions. So many of those tablet lines were complete fraud given to customers that had literally no need for a 2nd, 3rd or 4th line.
Fast forward a few years and suddenly you aren't able to retain these customers, aren't growing at the rate you were prior. inflating growth to appear to be number one carrier.
It catches up.
The worse thing is the RSS role didn't do this. The poor leadership messages and sales team did.
Of course there is the entire other side of poor decisions like yahoo, aol etc
I'm strictly just speaking from the competitive perspective. Face the facts T-Mobile has had us for a while and the only thing we did was cover the wound by selling free tablets.
