the Summary Plan Description that I received in the mail stated ERISA law requires the company to inform associates of any changes in the plan. I think the SPD we received is only to comply with that law. The letter clearly states it is not to seek volunteers for an EISP or ISP.

Wireline needs to hire at this point.....Super swamped with the Bpon to Gpon transition and launch of IPTV on top of the 300 to 750 speeds that now all of a sudden everyone wants....The fiber is killing it these days but I need a day off please.
My guess, since that's pretty much all this website is, is it was just a technicality that Verizon had to send out the information about the various ISP the company could offer. There will be no wide spread ISP in the wireline side. Just a few targeted ones, unfortunately, since I missed the last one by a reporting location.
I just got a letter in the mail concerning an isp, not an eisp. But either way, send it my way!! Hope we do get one!
When? We haven't heard anything yet.
