Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Received an updated income security plan (ISP) Benefits document in the mail today. IMO it's going to happen soon.

No one would leave if it was just an isp and not an EISP. They would not get their numbers.

In response to the last post....you might be right. But, it does explain an EISP as well. I think we can expect to receive something soon. Why else would Verizon send this out?

I think an ISP is on its way not the EISP. Read the documents carefully.

Not sure...but also have never gotten one of these types of documents BEFORE an eisp comes in mail. But i cam remember whem 1st level mgr used to plop them down on our desk while at work.

From what I'm hearing, everyone in wireline received this today. It seems that Verizon is letting associates know that an EISP offer is on the way so they can prepare to voluntarily leave. Why else would this arrive the first weekday of the month?

Just read over mine. Eisp probably on way. Maybe they will rif some fat on the mgt side.
