That was an awesome job! Got paid well for easy work and it was fun. Was a real and professional job until 2012. Jobs like that dont come around that often and when they become useless jobs only a large corporation or the federal government keeps them going for 5 years after they wore out their welcome. not mad at att. they paid way more than a lot of companies for something that should have become a $19 per hour job for at least the last 3 years.Cheers to all those ex RAEs out there and you all have the resume now to lock up a nice job going forward. Enjoy the severance and go somewhere in the spring.

I did the RAE job for a while and then got out of there because I knew it wasn't sustainable. its the people that job complacent and didn't do anything to further their careers got blindsided.

yes some raes made 80k. most got hit last year in layoffs round 1
RAE was a cake walk for sure, but it certainly didn't pay 80K. More like 55-60.
TROC reps cant even take phone calls, everything via e-mail. Cant access accounts. Territory the size of 3 RAEs. What a joke. AT&T is the epitome of corporate greed.

Back in 2013 i offered it, and it seemed way to good to be true...go to bestbuys and hangout with the reps for a few hours and go home. 11-4 each day and the stores ran themselves..I had a buddy recommended me so that was my in. He said he barely would leave the house and only show up on days his boss would ride along and maybe visit a store once or twice a week. Most of the time he sat home on his laptop.
$80,000 a year to do that sounds great, but i knew it wasn't sustainable.
Not really, TROC has your job and is outsourcing to bunch of merchandisers with no experience. Thought that your job was easy? these punks don't do anything. With no account access privileges they can't help any retailers with actual issues. A huge waste of money.
