If you think Centex isn't affected, you better think again - after giving 18 years, I was slapped in the face with a layoff from my IT job that I "Thought" would be secure - NOT. It was a blessing though - I no longer have to work for a bully manager (who will probably get his karma soon).

it seems as if the pattern is to wait until the start of a new quarter before announcing another round of cuts, so if anything happens on the 15th it may just be a more localized culling
Not going to say much but there is a business mobility call center that is switching to directv only. This is area manager confirmed. Because of job change you can get severence but it will not be offered you will not be able to get unemployment due to T is transitoning existing reps into new roll.

att has been telling you for years to get ready for anything. Pay off your debt, find ways that the govt will assist for medical needs and get ready for change. stop living in fear it is not good for you.
I keep seeing this posted, this date has zero significance for myself and team in the Central region. I have not seen nor heard anything in regards to anything.
