Anyone heard any information on what's happening to the Small Biz team? I am new to this site but I have been hearing rumors that head count will be decreased extensively. Unfortunately my management has not shared any information with us so I was hoping someone here could shed some light. Thanks in advance.

A former coworker of mine is at an AR and their hourly and benefits are worse however they do make more in commission. Overall COR is the way to go and they wish they could come back
Not sure where you get your info, but Authorized Retailers DO NOT pay better than Corp ATT. Why do you think turnover is so frequent for AR? The talent they hire is horrible, with a few exceptions. SSRs make more than DMs at many AR, I'm not guessing here either . They may promise, but good luck on the delivery, and I agree, it's about time biz reps stopped getting paid on things they have nothing to do with, while they sit home all day getting facials ( i know this cuz my biz rep does this and brags about it).
Thanks for the feedback everyone! I think it's time to get my resume updated and get opportunities lined up. I already looked into one authorized dealer and their pay plan is better than what AT&T is offering, they pay on new, up's and total opps along with dollar for dollar on AMA's! I think it's worth it to get ahead of the curve, best of luck to everyone here!

The cold calls, the up tool..... yea, small biz is F'ed.
This is so crazy - the SMALL BIZ reps that "support" the stores are LIVING off the sales from the stores - these folks NEED TO GO...consider that AT&T is now paying 8+ people on one business sale is ridiculous.
If level 1 and 2 stores are going to the authorized dealers, it would follow logic to think the small biz reps that support the corp stores wouldn't be needed.
That would be whose sign is coming down
All I can say is over the last year, the 2 largest authorized dealers have been ramping up on hiring their own small biz reps. I'm sure they didn't do this by chance.
