Wake up, ATT is moving to position the state of Florida and others for lower paid employees to dump the wireline. The average top craft CO or outside Tech made 80k base in Connecticut before ATT sold the region. The new jobs listed average $15.00 per hour. the older employees complained to the CWA union and were told in meetings to relax they had it all covered. Really?????????????

Please apply at a non-union company ASAP if you are disillusioned about union pay and benefits.

you couldn't be more correct, except the fact is the amount of useless unnecessary overpaid 2nd levels, and directors goes WAY beyond just network operations, those positions probably the most useless group of employees . Every one i deal with is more worthless than the last. They could all be cut without creating the slightest blip on the business, since they bring no value to the teams that actually do the work, in reality it is a company culture problem of epic proportions

Good post, we average 80k with overtime, living expenses here are very high, I work in Key West, the company has loaned workers from other areas in the past 2 years, which includes per diem, hotel and travel expenses paid every 2 weeks, these workers made more than 100k a year, the solution buy the union and get rid of vested employees , bring new fresh meat with no experience and much lower wages , a win for the company

Useless unions means Cheaper wages for those 85 new technician openings from Key West to West Palm Beach, with nearly 40 of the jobs in Broward County.
