Out of 15 applications I've submitted, I've gotten 8 denial letters...even from the company TAKING OUR JOBS FROM US. MBA graduate, MMDP graduate with a big RAE "s". We can't name names here, but the president of retail sales and distribution is NOTORIOUS for cutting too deep. Ridiculous that someone will have to come in and clean up his mess once it's realized it was a mistake.

Shay and crew will not stop until everyone is 3rd party Sadly companies on the outside are not impressed with our T credentials and it becomes more of a negative than a positive. Add to that the title NAE / RAE and it makes matters worse!
February early release? What is it?
I agree, AT&T does not care about your degrees and experience. The key to work at AT&T is kiss as many managers butt as you can, and you will be OK.
ROLF....As my PCG manager said, the more badges you collect the more secure your job will be"' of couse she only has high school diplomaunder her belt and she is in charge of IT operations, Now think about that for a whole minute.........Only at AT&T.
The issue about qualifications has always been bogus and a red herring. If you would take the pay they offer people from India to do the work, you would get hired. But of course you could not live in this country on that income.
It is a neat little circle that allows corporations to whine and complain about U.S. workers and not seem like the greedy weasels they really are.
Unfortunately you are a threat! You are educated and a thinker; you have no place at this company. I applied for a ton of jobs as well and denied or stuck in the HR bottleneck. I was not even qualified for jobs that I held in the past. It's all a joke. A reduction in the workforce is the only option available to pay dividends and complete the merger. You will run yourself crazy trying to understand the greed that permeates this culture.
