Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

New HQs Remodel

AT&T plans to spend $100 million revamping its downtown Dallas headquarters. A plan to relocate key managers from LA to Dallas, or Atlanta is outlined in the discussion with the city planning commission. Available online. A separate real estate article in DBJN p3. states employee transitions to begin near end of 2017 with relocation packages offered. Doesn't sound like a layoff, but movement of employees from one sight to another.

The article clearly states the company still has about six months of planning work and must receive city approvals before the major work can begin and the project won't even be completed until 2019.

Based on that its hard to see how they would start relocating peoplein 2017.

Original poster is a liar. There is nothing about the movement of LA workers to Dallas. I read the Dallas Business Journal article and there is nothing.

Until you, OP, post that article, you are a liar. Similar to that guy that kept talking about how Atlanta was going to dominate. Bwahahahahaha!

When you say the movement of employees from one location to the other, you are referring to the movement of MANAGERS? Correct? From what I have seen, the "employees" are all being railroaded.
