All the internal postings are open to everyone. Last surpluses had jobs for surplus only. We don't even have a chance
AT&T is by far one of the greediest companies I have ever had the displeasure of working for. Unfortunate because I used to enjoy my job and coming to work to help my employees and customer every day. Now however I was given news that I may not have a job. All I can say to this is wow! Atleast randy and his family will be nice and secure with his bonus for putting thousands into financial hardships. Thank you AT&T for the slap in the face after years of busting my butt for you!
They never give you a reason why you are being laid off it's just because of a surplus and that's just not a reason for someone to get rid of your job
AT&T has already changed management pay regarding "at risk". What are the chances "At risk" is taken away from RSCs and a bonus format is put in place? Of course higher hourly rates would be the only suplementation of this.
Already happening :(
Management level jobs across the country.
what location?
400+ received notice of being in an impacted organization in the Steve Schanz org (Martin>Lurie>Stanky) on 1/11.
what layoffs are expected? call center, retail, management? While no names should be used, please at least cite the management level that the information comes from. These threads are getting clogged up with junk that people are being told by low level managers who are not in the loop.
There is a Stankey/EG town hall/webcast thing next Wednesday so I would guess we'll know by then. I'd say Monday.
