A friend of mine at a call center location in the Midwest (told them I would keep the location private if I posted this) said that they had been told that the ATT sign is coming down in order to make room for a DirecTV sign. Wonder if that means anything other than a cosmetic update?

Funny I just noticed an at&t local office taking their sign down today too. Not a call center, corp office that housed mobile network people, small biz reps, rae's, etc.. I doubt they are just putting up a new sign..

Either your center is being repurposed for another line of business, or prepare to be surplussed
can you guys make sure the back door is open tomorrow? I'll be there to install the big fat sign then smoke a bowl in the back room.
Yeah what it means is they'll need to layoff everyone in that center to pay for the new sign.
