This is BIG news. Likely the end of wholesale outsourcing replaced with common sense staff augmentation. Follett IT has turned the corner. We heard this rumor a month ago, is it confirmed?

In the post below, what change are you referring to where IT moves to direct report of the business only. The change where eFollett reports to RM, POS systems report to CW, merchandise systems report to CW, wholesale systems report to JL, Coursematerials reports to JH and financial systems report to PT? SS/MF manage the only true share service of network services?

Avoid amazons warehouse centers. If you get into Info tech there, you are worked hard, but only wear a single hat. No more having a boss not being unclear if what's going on. His boss and his boss already know the direction. Stay with Follett and you will soon see a change.

I wonder how long until Amazon also accepts financial aid?

"Amazon to accept food stamps, taking on Walmart"

Horrible conditions? Sounds familiar, borrow a cup and spoon for that soup.

I've heard horrid things about working at Amazon. You maybe should do some research before you resort to that.
