I would absolutely love to see a DOS or above, even an ARSM, try to run a module or a store for a week each quarter! Let the disconnected become connected to the real world! I'd be interested in seeing how many DTV or DL sales they got within the same time frame they bestow on "their people." Lead by example they say, where is the example? 10 years and I've yet to see an example in action. All I've ever seen is the DOS ramble on and on about the same tired stuff that didn't mean anything the first time it was said by the VPGM or someone else years ago. Another thing, NO ONE other than the executives care about JD Powers!!!!! You want to cut cost!? Stop sending one screen protector in a huge box, there is absolutely no reason for a reset every couple of weeks, (other than to justify that position's existence), stop buying more entertainment companies when the first one isn't selling, but most of all focus on the people longer than the week before a survey or when you want them to donate so it makes you look good! It's hard when the company you started with, has become the company your friends and family worked for that you felt sorry for.

Bitter and uninformed looks like someone who drank the kool-aid and obviously isn't hearing things from the upper ups like current employees are...
It's called corporate America and retail.. what do you expect... layoffs and buyouts are part of the game.. there is a att retail store or authorized agent which are crap btw on every corner
Still waiting to see something worth while to read on this site. Something that would be helpful. Nothing but bitter and uninformed current/quite-possibly-ex-employees looking to blow steam.
All of this, is a decision made well above the dos level. Your frustration is warranted, but Big Red making the move to full authorized opened this option up. Your DOS and ARSM are feeling redundant right now--I'm neither position, btw.
