To be HR and policy compliant it will effect everyone retail manager. More then likely the ones closest to retirement will go, then under performing stores, and time at manager. If you under 5 years you might be ok but under 3 years as a manger it's cheaper to lay you off.

I got promoted in the last half of last year. I am fully expecting to get cut. I should have known this "raise" on 1/1 would have a massive catch. Mainly that I only get it for 3 months.
Anybody have information on operation depts?
Age has been a factor, Pension, benefits, severance , add those 3, AT&T knows how to get around these laws
3 of my roommates are att employees and we are all very sad. I heard the reps are going to go on strike so they can save our jobs, make att great again

they can't use age or close to a retirement as a deciding factor. all the metrics on age, race, gender are fed into the HR systems to ensure that one group isn't being targeted. that doesn't mean that some older or closer to retirement won't be selected to go.
