What difference does it make which department or center? Wake up!!! sooner or later ATT will drop many US departments. H1b workers are working in many areas and once trained they will return to their country and take two guesses what will happen to the department where they trained?
Most people are clueless and the H1b workers are told to keep quiet about what they are doing.
In my department we were told we needed help and the work would stay but not be so stressful with forced OT. We had 62 in the department and in December we all received notices. When some asked why we were told the company had to reorganize the work. Wonderful no job but the company was ok.
Still looking for a new job.

Guess what...Phoenix is getting offshored., 24 days ago Coworkers leaving 120+ and The cuts are happening at an AT&T operations center near 19th Avenue and the Loop 101 in north Phoenix. AT&T started cost saving measurements due to merger with Time Warner in an $85 billion, king of Deception said last week that there will not be any further layoffs , I guess lying it is okay
Att operations center is pretty vague and our company is YUGE! What organization?
