Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

This is a layoffs board...

Folks this is a board to discuss layoffs and surpluses, reductions in workforce, restructures, etc. Why all the sudden are we flooding it with DTV now and Internet garbage or general slander involving our CEO? Can we get back to basics so important info/threads stop getting buried under unless fluff?

We should be polite to Randy while he signs away people's jobs for a fatter bonus, I think not.

Actually a tech problem (not a glitch) on a platform and the way in which a company responds belongs on this board. Hell T-Mobile used it as a marketing strategy.

WOW, UAT testing is something innovator AT&T knows nothing about, but again don't see them spending the money doing actual testing, therefore the only solution was , to launch an untested product, and Subscribers pay to fix the product with the luxurious tech support in Bangalore, a total win for big T

I am sure that with this new AT&T product all U - verse techs will be even totally out of the job, regardless if they get it working or not

I don't think anyone minds the extra info. But I don't think most folks come here to read about tech glitches in DTV now or what some random investor thinks about T stock. They want to know what's going on within the company and how it may affect their job.

I like the info too. Some of it is a little harsh and at times short sighted but it's honest. It's the stuff you don't see in the watered down infomercial that is the nps survey.

And people are afraid of the nps survey, it's not anonymous and I know of three high performing award winners who were punished (w/surplus) after their comments were "exposed" an on a team call.

Lucky for them you can't really punish a high performer. They all went on to make way more money. And cream rises to the top.

So there's that.

I'm sorry but nothing related to ATT should be off limits here and the CEO is the extension of this company and it's affiliated assets. And he created a lot of the messes with shiny object syndrome, allowing an already sick culture to further deteriorate and the constant spin doctoring and used car salesmanship.

Its a free world don't try to control it like the T try's to do to its workforce!

Is this an at&t owned site?

Not so sure the statements are slanderous, as they are all true in my opinion.
