Hargrove org will be sending out email for interest in leaving. We were told the org needs to go down 15% by end of this quarter AFTER were told last month all was good.

AT&T started cost saving measurements due to merger with Time Warner in an $85 billion, king of Deception said last week that there will not be any further layoffs , I guess lying it is okay

Layoffs is now everywhere within AT&T. What about ABS ( Business Solution) group? We got hit last March. Things doesn't look too promising.

I was part of the July wave. It may seem dark today but it has been a blessing. You will all be better off. AT&T is a vampire ship. I hope it sinks.
There are no other jobs within the company. So I guess we get paid to do nothing
Effective March 31, 2017. All RAE (retail Account executives) will be surplus employees. They will be given severance if they cannot find another job within AT&T. ASMs inside COR locations are being severely cut and will be put on surplus as well.
This is confirmed through market leadership. First hand experience on call.
RAE for National and Indirect will be gone. They will be under the same model as T-Mo - outsourced. ASM's will be eliminated as some stores are "over staffed" and there will also be "store closings" that will impact even RSC's. Districts will also be redrawn for the impacted areas. ASM's will be let go based on "rank and rating" but it sounds more like you are f---ed if in a level 1 store as you are basically up sh--s creek.
For anyone who said 2016 was bad, they must not work for AT&T.
Are you saying there's a chance RAEs are not being eliminated today? I was told on very good authority that we are being eliminated altogether.

yes it means that youre in an impacted organization. expect nothing more than a brief prepared statement that will be uniform across all impacted orgs.
A last minute 30 min conf call scheduled today by a 5th line with a cast of hundreds only means one thing.
Every single RAE is being cut. All channels.
Numbers have not been announced, but since many folks in various centers were on calls today and being told their centers were all being affected then I suspect the numbers are not going to be trivial.
