I was the one who originally posted the question. I got my STI at 80%.

I got my STI on Friday but my last day of employment was Dec 2016. We are in 20% bonus pool but I got only 10% as payout based on 2016 total earnings. Is there anything I can do? I am aware that we were funded 80% and I did not get anywhere close. Also, I was on EWA and does that money get included when they calculate bonus?

Thanks

@cwv....No need to worry - Fidelity has a team dedicated to Verizon employees and retirees - ONLY

they are on top of it - Profit Sharing Award

qna thats actually extremely helpful.

anyone know what happens to the profit sharing award if the account was rolled over into an IRA? does it go into a general fund or do we need to contact VZ or fidelity?

Your severance pay does calculate sti into the payout and is calculated at full target and dumped into the defined hourly rate then multiplied by max 35 weeks. He/she will get the 80% sti for the 2016 year seperate from sev pay. Meaning there will be 4 payouts 1) accrued vacation if any 2) profit share to 401k-usually in March 3) the actual sev package which he/she has been advised what that amount is already on day notified 4) the voted STI for 2016 and from what I heard that was voted at 80% of target STI.

Hope this helps

I would double check the paperwork you got when it was given to you, my STI was "included" in the total amount of severance I recieved I was told and the figures I saw reflected that. I got 2 different answers I when I asked HR and management and a lot of confusion surrounded the issue.

And the bonus you get will be the amount voted ... I.e. 80%,90 of target STI....whatever the voted payout was

Yes.... You will get your bonus the same time current employees get theirs. Which I assume is end of February.
