I've been told I will have a role in the DXC company in April, currently in HPE. I need to have a surgery early summer and after 4+ Years (HP then HPE) I need to use Short Term Disability summer 2017 for about 6 week recovery time; to use STD at HPE have to have 1 year employment with the company,
Once with DXC in April 2017, does the clock start over for using STD and eligible vacation days etc? With 4years now at HP & HPE, will I be considered a "new" employee at DXC, with only a few months at that company as of Summer 2017 and not eligible for STD?
